This Privacy Policy describes how Pillody ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our neuroscience-based audio therapy application ("App"). Pillody is designed so that your personal session history and saved mixes stay under your control.
No Central User Data Backend: Pillody does not use a developer-controlled backend to store your names, saved mixes, reminder settings, or session history. Those records stay on your device. Remote network access is used mainly to stream or download audio assets.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device
- Onboarding details: First name, last name, recommended category, and recommended preset if you provide them.
- Saved mixes and presets: Custom mixes you create and the settings used to play them.
- Session records: Listening history, duration counters, and last played session metadata.
- Preferences: Notification state, reminder time, headphone mode, haptic settings, dark mode, and audio network policy.
- Downloaded audio paths: References to audio files downloaded for offline playback.
1.2 Remote Audio Delivery
Important: Pillody may stream or download audio files from Cloudflare R2 or a CDN endpoint. This allows playback without operating a central backend for your personal session records.
- Audio requests: When you stream or download a track, the hosting provider receives standard request data such as IP address, requested file path, and technical connection metadata.
- Offline playback: If you download tracks, the files are stored locally on your device for later playback.
1.3 Network and Device Handling
Pillody checks your connection type to decide whether remote streaming is allowed or whether a track should be downloaded first. This is used only to manage playback behavior on your device.
